Settings
Flow-level settings in Actionflow Studio and on the ActionFlow Settings tab. Name, active status, visibility, templates, transfer, and delete.
Settings
Settings is a first-class ActionFlow surface. Open it from Actionflow Studio’s left nav or ActionFlow → Settings (/actionflows/{actionFlowId}/settings).
This is configuration for the flow, not for a single node. Node inputs and credentials stay in Node settings.
General
| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| Name | Label in the flow list and in Studio |
| Description | Optional summary (max 500 characters) |
| Category and tags | Catalog metadata for templates and Explore |
Active vs passive
New flows start passive. Set to active is required before dashboard runs, schedules, and inbound webhooks.
A webhook POST to a passive flow returns 409 (Flow is passive). See Webhook and ActionFlow requirements.
Active-flow count can hit a plan quota. The app then asks you to set another flow to passive or upgrade.
Visibility and templates
- Request a public listing for Explore. Admin or owner can unpublish.
- Mark the flow as an organization template so others can clone it from Templates.
Transfer and delete
Transfer moves the flow to another organization you belong to. Delete removes the flow. Both are on the same Settings page.
