This Cookie Policy explains how Startbase LTD uses cookies and similar technologies on ActionFlows.ai. Startbase LTD is registered in England and Wales under company number 15278821. Registered office: 24-26 Arcadia Avenue, FIN009, London, England, N3 2JU.
This document covers cookies and similar technologies on our websites and app. When you run a workflow, data sent to the AI models and integrations you choose is a different kind of processing. That is described below and in the Privacy Policy.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We also use local storage and similar technologies. Together they remember a session, keep the product working, and, if you allow it, help us understand use of the site and measure marketing.
Consent categories we actually use
Our consent tool has three categories. They match the scripts we load today:
Necessary
Required for the Service to work. These include authentication and session cookies, security tokens (including CSRF protection), load balancing, and storing your cookie choices. Necessary technologies cannot be switched off in our banner. Our cookie choice is stored in the browser under the local storage key `cookie-consent`.
Some product state (for example editor layout) may also be stored locally on your device. That is used to provide the Service, not to advertise to you.
Analytics
These load only if you accept Analytics. We use Google Analytics (Google tag / gtag.js) to understand how the public website and product are used (pages viewed, approximate location from IP, device type, and similar). This data is not fully anonymous.

Marketing
These load only if you accept Marketing. We use Google Tag Manager (GTM) so that marketing and measurement tags we configure in GTM can run. GTM itself is a container. Tags loaded through GTM may set additional cookies depending on what we have published in that container.
What we do not list as current cookies
We do not currently load PostHog, Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, or Canny as first-party analytics or feedback scripts on the marketing site. If we add a new analytics or marketing provider, we will name it here and in the Privacy preference center.
We do not have a separate "functional cookies" consent category in the banner. Language and similar preferences may be stored as necessary local data or as part of your account.
Payments (Stripe)
Paid checkout uses Stripe. Stripe may set cookies or similar technologies that are required to complete a payment securely. Stripe's privacy policy: https://stripe.com/privacy
AI models and integrations (not cookies)
When you run a flow, payloads can be sent to AI providers and integrations you selected (for example OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, cloud AI APIs, Slack, GitHub, or an MCP server). That processing is not a website cookie. It is governed by the Privacy Policy and by that provider's terms. ActionFlows operates the workflow engine. You choose the provider.
Your choices
When you first visit, a banner offers:
- Accept (allows Analytics and Marketing as well as Necessary)
- Reject Optionals (Necessary only)
- Customize (opens the Privacy preference center)
In the Privacy preference center you can save a custom mix, reject optionals, or accept all. Categories shown there are Necessary, Analytics, and Marketing.
You can open the Privacy preference center again from the Privacy preference center control in the website footer.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser:
Blocking necessary cookies will stop login and other core features from working.
How long cookies last
Session cookies are deleted when you close the browser. Persistent cookies and local storage can last from a few days up to two years, depending on the provider (for example Google Analytics). Our consent record stays until you change it or clear site data.
International transfers
Analytics and marketing providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. See the Privacy Policy for transfer safeguards.
Children
The Service is not for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy. The "Last updated" date will change. Material changes may also be announced on the website.
